April 2022: Autism Acceptance Month Fundraiser!

Dreamscape Foundation #SharingTheDream - My Autism Connection, Inc. Autism Acceptance Week-Long Charity Stream Marathon! April 8th - 15th.

April is commonly associated with Spring and marks the end of blistering winter transitioning to the scorching Summer. At the same time, it is the month to celebrate awareness and acceptance of our brothers and sisters with Autism.

Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition of variable severity with lifelong effects that can be recognized from early childhood, chiefly characterized by difficulties with social interaction and communication and by restricted or repetitive patterns of thought and behavior (Oxford Dictionaries). Dreamscape Foundation is an organization focusing on accessibility for people with disability.

We know living with a disability can negatively impact one’s chances of success in education and employment. But we believe that we have the power to do something about it and knowing is not enough. While nothing can equip anyone for an unanticipated disability, we can take an action to offer hope. We can take steps to help the disabled community adjust to today’s world in a way that allows them to move forward. We invite you to join us in our fundraising event for the Autism Acceptance Month with our 4 awesome streamers starting this

    Meeting the Dream Team!

First on our list of four streamers is Lennic, influenced by one of his best friends who’s also streaming, Lennic started streaming and found that it worked for him within just a few months. He is described by his community as chill and laid back with a focus on gameplay.

Lord, mostly known as Lordsbathwater on Twitch, began streaming around a year ago mainly for his friends who wanted to watch. Eventually, a couple more people started tuning in and he started making new friends to hang out with. His community would describe him as a dumb doodoo who does stupid stuff and laughs at himself.

Another streamer that will be joining this event is “the imfamous test subject but the rest of the world knows me as imfamousx1x. She initially stepped into streaming through a friend by the name of DarkZero_Omega and has been streaming for 5 years since then.

    Our Mission

Dreamscape Foundation understands the challenges of millions and many more people across the globe that is affected by disabilities. The struggle is right in front of us, yet too often our eyes miss it. Our Mission is to actively work to ensure that anyone who lives with this struggle is provided with the tools and resources needed to meet their educational, employment, and independent living goals. We share these sentiments with our 4 streamers.  When asked how disabilities impacted their life or the lives of people around them? One of our streamers responded with –

“My grandma! She met with an accident when I was a kid and was disabled for the rest of her life. Seeing a loved one going through such tribulations as a kid and growing up, it was disheartening and impacted me a lot in my teenage years.” – Lord

    Join the Fun!

In line with this month’s event, we will be sharing half of the gathered donations to My Autism Connection, Inc. A 501(c)(3) organization located in Southwest Florida that offers services to autistic adults between ages 18 and 50. So we invite you to gather and unite to raise $ 2,500 for Dreamscape Foundation’s Autism Acceptance Month Event. Join us (April 8 to April 15) on Twitch and Tilitfy!

If you have anything to give, please consider how much of an impact you can make for someone’s livelihood. Depending on how much you donate, you will be eligible to win a variety of prizes. From redeemable Steam keys, to Dreamscape branded T-Shirts, Magnets & Drawstring Backpacks. If you are unable to lend anything, just know that Sharing The Dream is all that counts!

Drop Into MrsGothicc’s Fall Guys Charity Stream on May 16, 2021

Alt text: The image shows MrsGothicc’s logo of a ghost inside a chipped teacup. Beside it is text reading, ”MrsGothicc Charity Stream, Sunday, May 16th, 1:00pm EST, Fall Guys Ultimate Knockout.”

MrsGothicc’s Twitch handle may sound a little dark, but don’t let the name fool you. This non-profit streamer designed her channel with a bright mission in mind: to raise funds for charities. Dreamscape Foundation will be the beneficiary of her efforts in May as she launches a charity stream with a target goal of raising $500 for our mission.

MrsGothicc’s Humble Beginnings as a Gamer and a Streamer

MrsGothicc’s first console was a Nintendo 64, where she played classic titles like Donkey Kong 64, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Super Mario 64. Back then, gaming was a casual hobby that she engaged in off and on. However, when she bought an Xbox 360 to entertain herself in between her studies in college, it leveled up her love for gaming. She attributes this renewed passion to a game called Bioshock. It quickly became her favorite, sparking a long-term love affair with the franchise.

MrsGothicc entered into the streaming world in early 2020 as a way for her and her husband to have fun together during the global pandemic. With the world on lockdown, it became their shared hobby. The pair began with a simple setup, streaming directly from their Xbox One consoles to Microsoft’s now-retired platform, Mixer.

Through this experience, she quickly discovered that streaming wasn’t just about watching people play video games. It was about community, and the connections people formed over it.

“Meeting people through streaming is one of the biggest saving graces over the last year,” she said.

Using Her Streaming Channel as a Vehicle for Charity

After Mixer closed, MrsGothicc moved her channel over to Twitch where the vision and purpose for her channel began to take form.

“When I started to get into [streaming] more, I saw it as an opportunity to help people,” she said.

Prior to the pandemic, MrsGothicc actively volunteered with her local Ronald McDonald House Charity chapter, which helped to provide medical care and assistance to sick children and their families. However, health-related restrictions due to the pandemic put those effort on pause. Thus, she turned to streaming as a new avenue for giving back.

She set out to gain affiliation with Twitch in order to use her channel as a vehicle to raise funds for charity. Her goal was to upgrade her equipment and become a Twitch affiliate over the span of a year, but it happened much quicker. By December 2020, she achieved her objective.

Now she is a part of Sidequest, a team with more than 60 members ranging from newly affiliated streamers to seasoned streaming veterans. They conduct multiple charity events each month, both as a group and through individual efforts.

“It’s important to be a good ally – having a community that not only cares and supports others but also tries to do what they can to help those in need. Be the love and light we need in the world because that is what will make a difference.”

Join MrsGothicc on May 16 at 1:00PM EST to Raise Funds for Dreamscape Foundation

MrsGothicc will be holding a Fall Guys-themed charity stream benefitting Dreamscape Foundation’s mission on May 16, 2021. This 6-hour stream-a-thon will include multiple ways for you to earn prizes and interact with her via your donations:

    • Donate $5: Receive a charity garland ring and Fall Guys sticker
    • Donate $10: Choose the spice level for the “Spicy Bean Boozled” dare
    • Donate $20: Choose a way to hinder MrsGothicc’s Fall Guys gameplay for 5 minutes by:
    • Making her wear starry eye goggles
    • Preventing her from swearing
    • Make her play the game with her controller held upside-down
    • Donate $50: Make her purposely lose the match by:
    • Jumping off the map
    • Standing still while others try to complete the map around her

The goal is to raise $500 for Dreamscape Foundation’s mission. Rewards for MrsGothicc’s community for achieving – or exceeding – these goals include a Dr. Thiccrespect E-Sport Stream (at $500 raised) or a stream where she cosplays as JarJar Blinks while playing Star Wars games (if $1,000 is raised).

To participate, tune into MrsGothicc’s Twitch channel Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 1:00PM EST.

CamWeppTV’s Charity Stream Gives Thanks by Giving Back

CamWeppTV’s Charity Stream Gives Thanks by Giving Back

CamWeppTV, aka Cameron, first began her twitch journey on a channel called “2girls1twitch” with her friend. After getting to see more of what the twitch community is about, she decided to branch off into her own personal channel now known as CamWeppTV. This new channel was a great outlet for her to express her creativity in a safe and welcoming environment. Through her channel, she has created lifelong friendships within the twitch community that are always there to support her when she needs them.

    A judgment free zone!

For Cameron twitch is not just a form of entertainment or a hobby to pass the time, it is a lifeline for her. Her channel has been a platform where she is free to be her authentic self, free of judgment. While many streamers showcase their gaming skills, Cameron uses her channel to feature her many talents, from art, singing/raping, comedy, to simply interacting with folks around her. When tuning into her channel, you might see her live streaming a public performance from places like the train station, or possibly witness her creating a canvas masterpiece.

Twitch- A platform for giving back

One of the many reason Cameron loves streaming, is the opportunity it provides her to give back to the community. Twitch has been such a big influence in helping her overcome the obstacles in her life, that she feels very fortunate to be able to use her channel to help others in the same way. Using twitch, she has done multiple charity streams to raise money for various causes. One stream she has done that is particularly near and dear to her heart, was for her friend that was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Using her channel, she was able to raise money that went to help paying for her medical bills. If there is one thing Cameron could pass along to other streamers like herself it is that even if you aren’t asked to do a charity stream, if you have the opportunity to do so, reach out and find ways to use your channel for good. There is no better feeling in the world than helping someone in need!

    Charity Stream Details

Cameron’s charity stream will be on November 24th beginning at 2pm EST in support of aiding Penny Jackson in raising funds to purchase e-sight eyewear technology. Penny had suffered two strokes affecting the optic nerves in each of her eyes. This left her with only peripheral vision in her left eye, weakened vision in the right and high light sensitivity in both. With the help of this corrective e-sight eyewear, Penny will be able to regain not only her vision, but her independence as well. Cameron will be combining this fundraiser with her annual Thanksgiving stream. Some content you can look forward to seeing is cooking, comedy, singing, dancing, live art demos, and more! Like many other charity events we will be giving thank you gifts based on your donation tier, in addition to raffling off a few grand prizes. Prizes will consist of things like amazon gift cards, tee-shirts, headphones, art/creative writing supplies, Tiny Hands, and more! Prizes will vary based on the tier level of donations to the cause. Our goal for this event is to raise $1,000+ for Penny’s new glasses. Any amount you feel comfortable donating is greatly appreciated! Regardless of your ability to donate, we encourage and hope you tune in and enjoy the fun with the rest of this amazing online community on Sunday November 24th at 2PM EST! To learn more about or stay up to date with Cameron and her Twitch Community, please check out her Twitch Channel, Twitter, or Instagram!

    ThePhatBandit’s Month-Long Charity Stream Marathon

    ThePhatBandit’s Month-Long Charity Stream Marathon

Erick, also known as ThePhatBandit to his Twitch community, is teaming up with the Dreamscape Foundation for a Charity Stream event like never before. Erick first got into streaming on Twitch through his longtime hobby of gaming. As a regular gamer, he found out about Twitch and started watching other streamers and personalities. After a while, he realized he had the resources to create a channel of his own, so why not? To him, it was more of a way to play games with his friends and connect with a broader community. His only goal was to have fun, make people laugh, and make even more friends.

An Open Community that Became Family

ThePhatBandit Twitch Channel is open to everyone looking to have a good time and interact with new people. Whether you are a longtime viewer or just checking it out for the first time, he is quick to invite you to join in and play along with him online. Erick strives just to be himself and network with people around the world he would never have met otherwise. Aside from just playing games, he is very vocal with his community. They talk a lot and consider it like therapy, talking about good days, bad days, whatever, and just hashing things out. When I asked him what he enjoyed most about streaming, he replied, “The comradely and the relationships we built just through our community and other streamers’ communities.” He went on to explain people had tuned in to watch the stream, never knowing them before, and eventually became friends he talks to daily. To Erick, Twitch is a place for people to have fun, play the games they love, and make new friends that’ll last a lifetime.

    Familiar Territory

Cut from the same cloth, he has been a longtime believer in charity work and helping those in need. So much so, his full-time job is with a nonprofit organization we are proud to call a neighbor here in Naples, FL. The Friends of Foster Children Forever is an organization dedicated to fulfilling the needs of every child who enters or is at-risk of entering the foster care system throughout Collier County. Their primary focus for the children is to help them reach their full potential in life through education and enrichment opportunities, as well as simply enjoying being a kid. One of Erick’s favorite outreach events was when they took a large group of 40+ to a theme park. He remembers the look of pure happiness on each of their faces. Not because it was just another enjoyable day to a group of kids, but he knew for some it was their first time at a theme park and for others, their first time leaving their home town. Erick loves what he does and is excited to be able to combine his passion with his channel as a way to give back and help even more people.

    The When, What & Why?

Now, as I mentioned, this is a charity stream event like never before for Dreamscape! You may be wondering what is so different this time around? Well, ThePhatBandit has decided to step things up a bit! Rather than streaming for a day or 2, he will be turning this charity stream into a month-long Marathon Event!! Beginning on November 15th and ending on December 15th, Erick will be raising funds to help with our holiday efforts. All proceeds will be used to support various children and families in need throughout the Holiday Season. From adopting families to donating to shelters and foster homes alike. As always, we will be giving thanks to our generous supporters with thank you gifts and entries into our raffle drawings. The awards will be on a tier-based system, ranging from t-shirts and steam keys to Funko Pops and your favorite Call of Duty collectible character figures. Not stopping there, we will send a couple of lucky winners away with our raffle prizes of various Amazon gift cards, with the grand prize being $100! See our prize chart here: All donations are welcome and beyond appreciated, but are never required! Erick encourages everyone to join in, no matter his or her ability to support. His community is a place for everyone to have fun and join in on the games and conversations. He will be playing various video games, including the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare! Additionally, he will be opening up several discussions around the charity, which we are supporting, and give you his honest thoughts on the matter. As Erick mentioned during his interview, “there is always a way to help out, even if it’s just educating and informing people on a need.” To keep up with Erick and join in his community, we encourage everyone to follow his Twitch Channel, Twitter, Instagram, and to check out his organization, The Friends of Foster Children Forever!

TheDramaticPause goes all in for Dreamscape’s next Charity Stream

TheDramaticPause goes all in for Dreamscape’s next Charity Stream

Danny Burns, also known as TheDramaticPause grew up both a longtime multi-sport athlete and video game enthusiast. Standing at 6’4, playing competitive sports always came naturally to him. Playing everything under the sun including basketball and volleyball, but his love for video games was always a good way to relax. “Video games was something I always did. At the end of the day, playing Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Zombies or Halo Reach, or Halo 3 with the buddies online, this is what has always been there for me.” Now a full time twitch streamer, Danny goes above and beyond what his physical body can do! When it comes down to it, Burns has always believed in giving back and helping those in need. Volunteering for multiple organizations in the past, TheDramaticPause is looking to add Dreamscape Foundation to that list! Working together, we will be raising funds to help Sean McDowell, a blind and deaf author, publish his first book. Sean is a man who has experienced a lot in his life, between battling addiction and readjusting to life after sight and hearing loss. Now, sober for over 30 years and having regained his independence, he is ready to help others do the same, using his own life as an example. TLDR: Saturday July 13th, Danny (TheDramaticPause) will be hosting a 12 hour charity stream starting at 9:00 AM EST, with incentives: Prizes and Giveaways galore!

TheDramaticPause- The Man, the Myth, the Legend

Danny first learned about Twitch from a friend of his back in 2012 or 2013. They had started a quick scoping clan on Black Ops 2 and began watching some videos for fun. He admits though “I never watched too many videos though, until Overwatch came out.” When Overwatch came out, he turned to Twitch to help improve his skills and to learn more about the game. After deciding against his original idea of going to college for movies, he started working for his family business. But it just wasn’t what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. He knew he had to make a change and turned to Twitch streaming. Danny made a smart decision and knew if it was something he was going to do, he had to be all in. So, he spent a year or two researching and learning the ins and outs of streaming. Using the knowledge he gained learning about Twitch, he was ready to kick things off. But he needed to choose his name. It had to be something that people would remember and that meant something to him. He decided to honor his friends from college. They had planned to team up for the Heroes of the Dorm video game tournament but unfortunately never did. Their team name was going to be TheDramaticPause, so after getting permission from the guys, he took over the title and TheDramaticPause Twitch channel was born.

    What to expect on Stream

Danny is in the process of completing his 12 hour stream challenge. What is that you might ask? Well for the month of July, he will be putting on a 12 hour long stream every single day! He will be playing Fortnite for the majority of his stream but there will be twists. Danny has decided to add a few fun incentives for different donation amounts. Some of the incentives include playing with his mouse inverted, dancing, letting viewers choose his mouse sensitivity, playing with a controller and allowing viewers to play along with him! But the biggest of them all, if someone donates the entire $1,000 goal, he will shave his head clean off, live on stream!!! Additionally, for all those who donate, we have a special thank you prepared. Based off of the amount donated, donors will be placed into tiers and be awarded the following prizes: Tier 1: $5

Kool Kits Hosts Gaming Marathon To Support Accessibility This Christmas

Dreamscape Foundation and The Kool Kits squad are teaming up to bring you our last Christmas fundraiser of 2018. At Dreamscape Foundation, we focus our energy each holiday season on our accessibility programs and families in need of Christmas miracles. For the Kool Kits squad charity marathon we will be raising awareness and funds for our accessibility programs. All campaign donations will get proceeded through our Tiltify page.

    Making Our Communities Accessible

When we look closer into our communities, it is evident that the obstacles between disabilities and everyday life are genuine. Every challenge is different; every need is different. They share our schools, our workplaces, and our neighborhoods. People with impairments interact with the same physical and online environments as everyone else in our communities and face unseen challenges. At Dreamscape Foundation, we strive to do all we can to ensure that these at-risk groups have the support they need to be independent, and through the Kool Kits stream this Christmas it will be made possible!

    Meet The Kool Kits

From December 20th at 8:30 AM EST to December 22ND at 6 PM EST the Kool Kits stream team will be fundraising for accessibility for two straight days! On Twitter, Twitch Partner, LeClumsyFox (Kool Kits Squad member) said that ” This is [charity stream] the first Kool Kits Stream Event with Dreamscape Foundation! I am so excited.” It is exhilarating that this stream team has chosen Dreamscape Foundation for their first charity stream and we hope their audiences enjoy the event and giveaways! The Kool Kits squad is composed of 11 Twitch Channels consisting of the following people:
    • LeClumsyFox
    • NotJedo
    • WhalesMustache
    • SkullSir
    • LxrdPunch
    • CaptainPandu
    • ZanB
    • Renessiee
    • Cruefire
    • Lank
    • OfficialPlazma
The streamers intend on dedicating over 50 hours of consistent gameplay in hopes of raising $2,500 for the foundation. They plan on covering a wide variety of games and music in the belief that it will draw out a large and diverse audience to learn about and support accessibility this Christmas. The games Kool Kits Squad will be playing include League of Legends, Fornite, Call of Duty Black Ops 4, Skyrim and Smash Bros Ultimate. The full list of streamers, games, and the schedule can be seen below. Please note that the timeslots are in CET.

    Donation Incentives
