May 2022: Global Accessibility Awareness Day Charity Stream Marathon!

Global Accessibility Awareness Day is a global event that provides visibility on digital access and inclusion for people with disabilities. This started from a very small celebration, with 16 in-person events worldwide in 2012, and bloomed to more than 200 annual events each year. Born out of the belief that every user, including people with disabilities, deserves a first-rate digital experience on the web. That belief made more people think and learn about digital access and inclusion.

Dreamscape Foundation believes in making today’s world more accessible for people with all types of disabilities. We focus on visual impairments because it is the heart of our mission as part of how Dreamscape foundation originally was founded. In line with this celebration, we have gathered a few streamers to Join us and raise $1500 to help improve accessibility for disabled people.

Making The World Accessible For All

The majority of people are not aware that millions of Americans and many more across the globe are affected to live with some form of severe disability. In reality, one out of five Americans is experiencing struggles of surviving with a disability. Our goal through this event is to raise awareness, funds, and actions for the improvement of these people’s lives.

As a charity for people with disabilities, we fight to restore the independence of the individuals we help. We believe that they should never be a prisoner of their impairments.

    Gathering Around A Great Cause

We appreciate everyone who will join us at this event, especially the streamers who responded to our call for help as a part of giving back to Dreamscape’s disabled community. Our Global Accessibility Awareness Day event will be full of fun from different communities all around the globe. Let us all gather and unite to raise $1,500 for Dreamscape Foundation!

According to Twitch Streamer MechromancerGaige, accessibility means making it possible for people to have access to things they need and that make their life easier/better. Either it being money for a surgery they really need or receiving prosthetics to make them walk again for example.

Join us (starting this Friday, for a week straight) on Twitch and Tilitfy! If you have anything to give, please consider how much of an impact you can make on someone’s livelihood. Depending on how much you donate, you will be eligible to win a variety of prizes. From redeemable Steam keys to Dreamscape branded T-Shirts, Magnets & Drawstring Backpacks. If you are unable to lend anything, just know that Sharing the Dream is all that counts!

Love Is In The Air, And So Is Raising Funds For Accessibility!

Everyone in the world has been affected by accessibility advancement, though some more than others. That’s where Dreamscape Foundation comes in! As our very first Stream Team fundraiser of 2022 kicks-off, we wanted to introduce everyone to our hand-picked Charity Streamers this week!

Jessyabeb Draws Attention To Disability Awareness

Jessy, aka Jessyabeb, is a former mental health nurse turned freelance digital artist and variety streamer.  She is someone who has personal experience streaming for charity in the past like the b-present foundation which works to help educate and support young adults with cancer, along with “It Gets Better“, an organization that works to uplift, empower and connect with LGBTQ+ youth all around the world.

Jessy is selfless enough to help raise funds with Dreamscape Foundation because she finds herself an adult living with a disability. Knowing the experience first-hand, Jessy wants to help in any way she can. Viewers can expect a lot of art streams during the event, along with some Spelunky 2. “I will have some art up as donation incentives! I’ll also be doing some more viewer interactive stuff like marbles and some other games.” Jessy explains.

    TheSaffronMan Raids For Accessibility

Meet Saff, also known as TheSaffronMan! Saff has had a lot of experience volunteering, ever since he was young. Things like summer camps and charity volunteer work to name a few. Where does all this inspiration to do good come from? In our interview with Saff, he mentioned that his late grandmother who had Parkinson’s was a massive role model for him, and continues to motivate him to this day!

For our Charity Stream with TheSaffronMan, the plans are to play a variety of games during the week; from Raid: Shadow legends, Halo Infinite, and GeoGuessr. The fun to be experienced is limitless! Saff also intends to mix it up with music and interact with his community by chatting on any relevant topics. Saff wanted to extend his support and that is how we met HWZ67!

    HWZ67 Lends A Helping Hand

Coming in later to the Stream Team is Kofi or HWZ67! Kofi is known throughout his chatroom as a Teacher and a Musician, especially for his interest in creating meme music. His streaming journey began at the end of 2020 as he wanted to connect with more people in the Raid Shadow Legends community.

As an Elementary School teacher, HWZ has constant exposure to fundraising at his school, as well as some volunteer work with an organization called “Hosea Helps” who help families with a wide range of services, based out of Atlanta, GA. When asked why he wanted to join in this Valentine’s Day event, HWZ told us that ” I genuinely enjoy helping others! My fiancé and I are always talking about charity work so I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity. She was very happy when I told her.”

    JohnKozlov Blasts Off For Charity

Now introducing.. John Kozlov! John happens to be a full-time programmer, while also working as a part-time content creator. During our interview, Kozlov mentioned that he sees himself as a perfectionist who likes to do everything to the next level. Our new streamer friend is known to have a deep passion for simulation games, especially the Star Citizen universe which became one of his favorite games.

John Kozlov started streaming as a way to find like-minded people with whom he can share common values and ideas. After all said and done, Twitch streaming ended up as one of his greatest passions. Kozlov mentions that “It helped me evolve and express myself better.” We are very happy that he joined our week-long charity, and even though this is his first charity stream, we are happy to have him a part of our growing Valentine’s Day event Stream Team!

    Sarcastickelly Welcomes Donations For Dreamscape

Meet Kelly, another friendly streamer we found on Twitch, where she is known as SarcastiKelly; A name her chatroom said fitted her perfectly – due to the fact that her sense of humor is very silly and ironic! As a self-described introvert, she always seems to make sure everyone feels included. According to Kelly, she is very reserved and quiet with people she hasn’t met before.

Although this will be the first Charity Event for Kelly, we can tell that she is very excited to lend her support! As she described in our interview, “This is something that I have always wanted to do and it’s just always been a question of when or how?” She explained ”I have always wanted to get into raising money for charities, there have just been so many questions and not knowing where to start. Once I got in contact with Dreamscape Foundation and got a good understanding of what they do and trying to achieve, I realized it’s something I wanted to be a part of.”

“Mental illness is something I’m way too familiar with, both myself and in my family, and I’ve always felt like it’s rarely taken seriously. I think that’s why I’ve grown to be so passionate and empathetic about wanting to help people, whether it’s to help someone move, or just be there if someone wants to talk, or just cheer someone up to make them forget about something that’s bringing them down if only for a moment.”

During the Charity Event, we can expect lots of fun, goofiness, and nothing but great time. Sarcastikelly adds “Not only will there be giveaways, but there will also be donations that’ll trigger certain actions that change the way I play whether it’s being blindfolded or choose what build/weapon to use, but you could also decide a future cosplay or a game to play and much more.”

How You Can Help Share The Dream:

We appreciate what these amazing streamers are doing as a part of giving back to Dreamscape’s disabled community. This Charity event will be filled with fun and passion from different people all around the globe. Let us all gather and unite to raise $5,000 in the spirit of Accessibility and Valentine’s Day.

All week long, February 7th to February 14th, 2022 we will be LIVE on Twitch and Tilitfy raising awareness of Dreamscape Foundation’s cause. Depending on an individual’s amount donated, donors will be eligible to win a variety of prizes, from multiple redeemable steam keys, to Dreamscape merchandise like T-Shirts, Magnets & Drawstring Backpacks. If you have anything to give, this is an amazing cause. Help us Share the Dream!

Ariel Jade Supports Dreamscape Foundation in a Week-Long Charity Stream

Ariel Jade Supports Dreamscape Foundation in a Week-Long Charity Stream

    ArielJadeLive Charity Stream: July 27-30, 2021 - 9:00pm EST Gaming + Music

When you see Ariel Jade live on stream, you witness a powerhouse entertainer. From impeccable cosplays to gaming shenanigans to musical performances, this “Jill-of-all-trades” puts on a performance that has reeled in nearly 14,000 Twitch followers.

As a full-time Twitch streamer, Ariel Jade puts in 10-hour workdays to produce content and media that entertain the masses. Yet behind those efforts is also a wholesome mission: to promote healthy relationships and positive vibes among her community, as well as beyond it through charitable efforts.

“I’ve always loved performing for people and giving them an escape from reality for a little while because life can become a little too much,” she said. “There are already so many outside pressures trying to pull us apart. To have some sort of pressure to pull us together and to be loving and inclusive to everybody I feel like is necessary.”

Ariel Jade Spreads Positivity to Her Community and the Streaming Industry at Large

Over the course of Ariel Jade’s professional streaming career, she has witnessed the livestream industry’s potential to be profoundly positive and dangerously toxic. Yet as a Twitch Partner and a larger scale influencer, she has the voice and the power to direct not only the tone of her own community environment, but also the streaming landscape.

One of the ways she does this is through Team Jaded; a 24-person content creation team that is focused on generating a positive movement that promotes healthy relationships and good vibes. It consists of a wide array of online entertainers, from Twitch personalities and eSports members to event hosts and body painters.

“I know ‘positive vibes’ is used so much,” she said. “Now it’s like this bland thing, but I really mean that. Each of my content creators, their ultimate goal is to make people feel accepted; to make people feel like they have a place to go… to have a collaborative space doesn’t matter your color, creed, or content style. As long as your ultimate goal is to perpetuate kindness and inclusion, that was my biggest [requirement].”

Another avenue is through her monthly charity efforts. Once a month she puts on a charity stream to help raise funds for a charity of her choice.

“If I can help someone and use my talents to help a good cause, I’m all for it,” Ariel Jade explained. “So I said [to my community], ‘You guys support me all month long. We’re going to support a charity once a month,’ and my community seemed to be receptive to that.”

She strives to support a different charity with each campaign, and looks for non-profits who may not have a lot of visibility so that she can use her platform to expand awareness of the organization’s cause.

Ariel Jade Aims to Raise $2,000 for Dreamscape Foundation in July Charity Stream

From July 27 to July 31 Ariel Jade will be conducting charity streams every evening in an effort to raise $2,000 for Dreamscape Foundation’s mission. Each stream will begin at 9pm EST/8pm CST, and will consist of a combination of popular gaming titles, such as Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty, as well as musical performances and viewer-instigated shenanigans.

Incentives will direct the course of the streams. For example, Ariel Jade will sing one song live on stream for each $100 donation received. There will also be events triggered by milestones, such as her playing video games while donning a horse head once viewers meet the halfway point of their charity goal ($1,000).

To participate, tune in to Ariel Jade’s Twitch channel at the appointed dates and time.

JovialNightz Engages in a Charity Stream Showdown

JovialNightz + Friends Charity Stream Jully 11th, 2021 8:00pm EST Kirby Air Ride

By day, JovialNightz is a graphic designer. By night, she sheds her work persona, puts on her adorable, cat-ear headset and unwinds on Twitch. There, she livestreams real-time work on her illustration projects and plays video games like Sonic Adventure.

“I always wanted to have like kind of an outlet to let my creativity flow out,” she said. “Twitch is just like that; an outlet I can use to interact with others.”

Those streams typically carry a chill vibe, but this month she’s taking it up a notch with an epic Kirby Air Ride competition against Apoc Hedgie & Mightysen.

“It’s just us having fun and competing with each other to see who’s really the best while also helping others at the same time,” JovialNightz explained.

Both are skillful players of the game and we can’t even begin to predict who will walk away with the winning title. But Dreamscape Foundation feels like the ultimate winner as JovialNightz uses this adrenaline-fueled showdown to raise funds for our mission.

    JovialNightz’s Relationship with Dreamscape Foundation

JovialNightz is no stranger to Dreamscape Foundation. In fact, she first stumbled upon our non-profit during one of our annual charity streams with Balena Productions. It was at that charity stream she met Apoc Hedgie, and the pair learned that they were both a force to be reckoned with in Kirby Air Ride.

Since then, JovialNightz has collaborated with our founder, Joe Sehwani, on other projects, such as creating animations for his YouTube channel Hotline Sehwani. But she wanted to do more. Seeing firsthand how her friends’ disabilities impact their lives, JovialNightz wanted to help raise funds that will help bridge the accessibility gap for others.

“I prefer doing [charity] streams that, instead of having a goal for myself, pushes money to others,’ she said.

Show Up for the Showdown on Sunday, July 11

The Kirby Air Ride charity stream will kick off at 8:00pm EST on JovialNightz Twitch channel. Those tuning in can use their donations to win various loot and prizes, so don’t miss out! Visit our Tiltify campaign here and see who will walk away the victor on Sunday, July 11.

Shellieface to Host Dreamscape’s next Charity Stream!

Shellieface to Host Dreamscape’s next Charity Stream!

ShellieFace Blog Interview Friday, May 7th 8pm Charity Stream www.twitch.tv/shellieface Move over Baby Shark, there is a new family in town! Meet Shellieface, Papaface, Mamaface and Sisterface. This close-knit family is taking the Twitch community by storm and winning over the hearts of followers. Shellieface, legally known as Michelle Saliba, never thought her cute, but silly nickname would make the impact it has today. “Everything in the community now is Teamface. When I play Animal Crossing my island is called Islandface, or whenever we name characters it’s Somethingface and it’s like a huge joke,” she explained. “Even my parents joined Twitch and their handles are Papafacesays and Mamafacesays. It’s like a brand now.”

    A Family Affair

With Shellie’s family being so supportive, not to mention involved in her streaming, you might be surprised to learn that she was not the first one to join the platform. “My sister joined Twitch first and has her own little handle, but we joke that she’s my number one hype woman,” Saliba laughed. “She’s the Michelle Obama to my Barack Obama.” The family support doesn’t end there. Michelle’s support also includes her brother-in-law, cousins and even her aunt. “I’m like this is so amazing that the family is getting involved,” she shared. “I love it.”

    Shining the Light

“Mental health is something that I think has been kind of underrated and under looked at. It’s so sad to see that not many people give it the foundation and the attention that it needs to keep us happy, moving and growing,” Shellieface explained.  “I like to promote something where, you know, people can have their own light at the end of the tunnel.” The streamer shares multiple different options with her community, including one she uses herself called TalkSpace. With the added impact of the pandemic, as well as having a background in Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience, Saliba made discussing the topic of Mental Health Awareness a priority within her community.

Making a Difference the Michelle Way

Michelle has always felt a calling to help people, but because she holds onto what other people share she knew being a counselor was never an option. Then, she was introduced to life coaching. “I’m actually looking at applying to programs now to become a life coach,” she shared. “I want to integrate that into my channel, so that I am available to help people in my own safe capacity where it’s not detrimental to myself. I can still assess people and help them get where they need to go in their comfort zone.”

    Shellie the ASMRtist

Sharing resources and life coaching are not the only ways Shellieface provides comfort to her community. “ASMR, Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, is essentially a tingling sensation that you can get, it’s just kind of like a reflexive response to a particular sound,” the streamer informed. “How it’s done is you turn the gain up on the microphone, speak in a very soft voice or sometimes not at all, and you just kind of do repetitive, gentle sounds that normally could be considered annoying, but when it’s done correctly is very soothing.” For anyone unfamiliar with ASMR, compare it to playing a white noise machine at night because it helps you sleep.

    Friday Night Fun!

This Friday, May 7, join Dreamscape Foundation and Shellieface in raising money to provide accessibility for individuals living with disabilities during our charity stream event starting at 8 pm EST. “The most important aspect of [the stream] is the awareness and the knowledge,” Michelle explained. “Knowledge to me is exceptionally powerful because then people can research it more, ask how can I make this better, and it only takes a handful of people to look further into that foundation to help. That’s what promotes the change.”

FOXDIE Gets Hardcore During His Two-Day Charity Stream with Dreamscape Foundation

FOXDIE Gets Hardcore During His Two-Day Charity Stream with Dreamscape Foundation

Imagine a life full of travel, adventure, freedom and treasure. Sounds good, doesn’t it? As Captain Jack Sparrow put it, “always be yourself, unless you can be a pirate. Then, always be a pirate.” For the last three years, Jake Cooper, better known as Foxdle, has gotten to experience the pirate lifestyle thanks to the video game, Sea of Thieves. “People love piracy; people love the sea, sailing, that freedom,” Cooper shared. “I think that is why I really enjoy the game is the freedom.” Foxdle’s love for Sea of Thieves got him recognized by the game’s developer, Rare, and he became an official partner of the game.

The Game That Changed It All

Although Jake had been streaming off and on for the past six years, it wasn’t until he found Sea of Thieves that things changed. “When this game first came out and I saw it, I was like that is a game that I could literally stream every single day for thousands of hours,” he recalled.  “And I did, and I built a community around that.” After building his community, Cooper knew he wanted his channel to be different, and different it became.

    Standing Out

“I went with a different approach than most streamers that I base my characters around my appearance on stream, so I will wear my pirate outfit that I wear in game,” Foxdle explained. Not only can viewers expect cosplay on the channel, but they can expect a unique approach to playing. Jake likes to challenge himself and push the limits of what he can do in a game. “For instance, I spent probably thirteen hours trying to transport a barrel of snakes in a game for no reason once so ever, something difficult, something different,” he described. “The developers of the game noticed it and they made it an easter egg in the game because they liked it so much.”

If You Build It, They Will Come … To Your Etsy Shop

When thinking about giveaways for the channel, the streamer said he wanted his giveaways to matter. “I started with skulls from the game that you normally sell for gold,” Foxdle stated. “I would do monthly giveaways and they were really popular, but the demand was so high that people were willing to pay for them and it went from there.” The demand for his replicas pushed Jake to open up his own Esty Shop. To create the 3D models, the gamer uses a virtual reality software called Oculus Medium to mold virtual clay with his hands. After the design is created, the process continues with printing, painting and sanding before the replica is complete.

Not Just A One Game Man

As a streamer, not to mention a life-long gamer, Cooper’s ultimate goal is to become a variety streamer. “I think as you grow as a streamer and you aren’t locked down to a single game that people naturally will go to something else,” he admitted. “Everybody will want to be a variety streamer at some point, you cannot play the same game for five years straight and not get bored.” For Jake, he plays whatever appeals to him, and currently that is Valheim. Valheim is a survival game, and in true Foxdle fashion he puts his own twist on how he plays the game. “Right now I am playing it where I have done pretty much everything before with no risk, and now I am playing it on hardcore,” he explained. “I like the challenge, so what that means is if my character dies then I will delete my character and restart from fresh.”

    Playing Valheim for Charity

Get ready to risk it all during this two-day charity stream with Dreamscape Foundation as we team up with Foxdle this Friday and Saturday, March 19 and 20, starting at 10 am EST. We will be raising money to provide the assistance that is necessary to meet today’s numerous disability needs through technology for those living with disabilities. Join us for some guaranteed entertainment, celebrated wins and unfortunate losses during this hardcore run Valheim server base. “The idea is to be hardcore where the viewers jump in, but when their character dies they have to leave and then invite someone else in,” Jake shared. “It should be really good.”

It’s A Rocket League Of Their Own Charity Stream with Thanovic and Dreamscape

It’s A Rocket League Of Their Own Charity Stream with Thanovic and Dreamscape

Everyone loves a good transformation story; rags to riches, weak to strong, tears to cheers. In the case of Ethan Robson, better known as Thanovic, he went from timid to talking. “Before I went to uni I was incredibly shy,” Robson recalled. “Even in my first year of uni, I remember I didn’t speak to anyone for the first six days of class and it was 9-5.” Thanovic went from being a shy introvert to having a large online following. Today he has 125,800 followers on Tiktok, 242,000 subscribers on YouTube, and 82,100 followers on Twitch (March 11, 2021). Not too bad for the quiet kid.

    Overnight YouTube Sensation

Before Robson became the well-known streamer he is today, he was just a regular college student enrolled in courses, working a part-time job, and playing video games. “I was in university for stage and screen acting, and I was working a job as a waiter, as all unemployed actors do,” he laughed. “I was playing [Rocket League] in my spare time.” Ethan started uploading videos to YouTube as something to do on the side while looking for acting jobs, and then his YouTube channel took off. Soon after his YouTube success, New Zealand went into lockdown. Thanovic decided to use this time to try and grow his following on two other very popular social medias, Twitch and Tiktok.

“Tick tock on the clock, but the party don’t stop, no.” – Ke$ha

As the most downloaded app of 2020, TikTok is not a social media platform to underestimate. “I decided to get on TikTok because all the content creators I had spoken to said this is the best way for growth,” Thanovic told. “I was sitting on 200,000 subs on YouTube at that time, so I was like I think people will recognize the name on TikTok and people will follow because this is Thanovic I know from YouTube.” Ethan definitely had the right idea, and his followers on TikTok jumped from 4,000 to 100,000 in one month. Due to his success on TikTok, the content creator used the platform to promote his Twitch channel.

    The Perfect Balance

“There’s a very different thing between my YouTube and my Twitch,” Robson explained. “On YouTube it’s all about education and kind of helping, and on Twitch I don’t really want to be doing the same stuff.” While each platform serves a different purpose for the streamer, they both focus on his love for Rocket League (RL). Ironically enough, Thanovic was not always a fan of the game that he ultimately built his career around. “I didn’t originally like it, but then I got addicted because I was bad at it,” he admitted. “I really liked the high-skill ceiling and knowing I have a long way to go.”

    Creating Your Own Path

Ethan’s dedication to improving his game has come full circle and made an additional lap. On YouTube, Thanovic’s channel is filled with informative gameplay, tips and tricks for improvement, and an opportunity for fellow RL players to ask questions. His channel caught the attention of one of the owners of GamersRdy, who asked if he was interested in building a RL course for the website. “He said you can do whatever you want on the course, but you are known as the tutorial guy, so I think it would be good to have you on board,” Robson recalled. “I ended up making a course from beginners to what was the top rank of the game; essentially furthering up on the stuff that I do on YouTube to help players of all ranks get to that next step.”

    Rocket League Charity Stream

Join Dreamscape Foundation as we team up with Thanovic for his first ever charity stream this Sunday, March 14, at 2 am EST. This charity stream will provide people with disabilities the tools and resources they need to achieve independence, and improve their accessible access in their everyday life. “If all I have to do is stream to help out a charity, it feels wrong not to,” Ethan admitted. “I am looking forward to this one a lot.” Get ready for some fun, entertaining and competitive one-on-one games with the RL educator himself. It’s time to get your head in the game.

Accolonn Believes in Love, Not War For Dreamscape’s Charity Stream

Accolonn Believes in Love, Not War For Dreamscape’s Charity Stream

Sometimes we could all use a little escape. Whether that means getting on an airplane, binge watching Netflix or opening up a book is up to you. Since he was a child, Stephan Pistorius’ escape has come in the form of the fantasy world Azeroth. “There was something so magical about this world that you are in. It’s not our world, but a world of a magic that’s different,” he described. “And to a child’s imagination it was just unreal.” Pistorius’ fascination with the World of Warcraft (WoW) Universe has only grown stronger throughout the years. WoW has made living in fantasy a reality for Stephan, and we are all invited.

    Creative Freedom

For Pistorius, better known as Accolonn, his dream of being an entertainer proved to be a lot easier said than done. When he first discovered YouTube and his own desire to create content, South Africa didn’t have the internet capability to support it. “I waited almost ten years, up to the age of thirty-one, to finally get internet that would allow me upload videos to YouTube,” Pistorius shared. “As soon as I could do it, I finally started making YouTube videos.” Accolonn finally had the creative freedom to entertain how he wanted. Although being a YouTuber was always the goal, being a streamer was not. Stephan enjoyed sharing his videos with his community, but the concept of being able to talk and hang out with others who had the same interests was more than appealing.

    3 – 2 – 1 ACTION

Just as it had taken years for South Africa to support YouTube, it was the same painful process for Twitch. This live streaming platform would allow Pistorius to take himself to the next level. “As soon as I knew it was possible, I thought let’s try our hand at this Twitch thing,” Accolonn recalled. “The more I started doing it, the more I started enjoying it and the more I started to realize my community enjoyed it.” Live streaming not only gave Stephan the power to transport himself and his viewers to Azeroth in real time, but to have open dialogue during the experience as well. The writers of WoW leave room in their world for players to speculate and expand upon, which I’m sure you can image leaves a lot up for discussion. “You are telling the story further than what the writers are at the time,” the streamer explained. “That’s why I love WoW.”

“When You Are Kind To Others, It Not Only Changes You, It Changes The World.” – Harold Kushner

Discussing the speculation and theories of WoW may be the main content of Pistorius’ channel, but that is not all it consists of. He also uses his platform to remind everyone of their humanity. “I think people are so serious these days and also people don’t really cut each other slack at all,” he stated. “We expect everyone to be perfect at all times, and if you make one mistake you get cancelled, the mob comes after you.” Accolonn has made sure that when someone comes to watch his stream that they know they can relax and kick their feet up. “You come there and you hang out with a friend,” Pistorius said. “You talk about the thing that you love, this world, and whatever theory is on the table for that day.” The focus of the stream is to do what you enjoy with people that you enjoy.

Life is Better When You’re Laughing

Before streaming, Accolonn doubted whether or not he would be able to entertain his viewers. Funny enough, in the end, his viewers entertain him as much as he does them. “I have never laughed as hard as I do at my chat. The things they say, the things they come up with,” he laughed.  “It is just ridiculously funny to me. They are my favorite part of it.” The Twitch Partner enjoys interacting with his community so much so that he worries about what would happen if his numbers get too high. “The higher the numbers, the harder it is to read chat because the chat starts going really fast and that would take all my enjoyment out of streaming,” he confessed.

Don’t Watch Me Play Spreads The Love During Dreamscape’s Valentine’s Day Charity Stream

DontWatchMePlay Valentine's Day CHARITY STREAM 1pm-8pm EST www.Twitch.tv/DontWatchMePlay According to motivational speaker Ken Blanchard, “Feedback is the breakfast of champions.” I believe if this was true that many of us would be skipping breakfast. Receiving feedback is not typically something that is welcomed with open arms, unless you are Cory Campion that is. “Feedback is absolutely always appreciated,” he shared. “I have no problem talking about it and trying to work towards bettering the channel and bettering myself as an entertainer.” Campion, better known as Don’t Watch Me Play, is a YouTuber and Twitch Streamer who believes people are always growing and can always change for the better, himself included. “Being myself and being genuine to everyone who comes by is just always something that I have wanted to be,” Don’t Watch Me Play stated.

    Welcome to the Kingdom

Cory was inspired to start his own YouTube Channel playing video games after participating in the web series, The Gauntlet. On YouTube, Cory was originally known for playing a lot of rage games and his unwavering devotion to play until he won earned him the nickname the Stubborn King and his community the Stubborn Kingdom. “Two years later I just really wanted to branch out more, and my main mission was to try and get the channel to grow,” he recalled.

    Time For Some Ice Breakers

The goal of joining Twitch was not only to grow in numbers, but to become more personable. “Twitch was more of an opening to just play video games and look at the camera because the chat is lined up perfectly behind it,” Cory described. “I can actually look at you and speak to you at the same time, so it was more of a mutual conversation between me and you while we are all in the chat.” The streaming website allowed the Stubborn King to talk and be interactive with his kingdom. “There is nothing cooler than almost feeling like you are actually hanging out with all these people,” he described. “When you are playing a horror game together you can actually interact and enjoy that jump scare together and talk about it”

“If You’re Not Having Fun, You’re Doing Something Wrong.” – Groucho Marx

From YouTube to Twitch, Don’t Watch Me Play’s mission to bring joy and entertainment to viewers has remained the same. The goal is for everyone to have a great time and to feel included. “As long as the viewer is having an amazing time, whether they are there for five minutes or if they are there for seven to eight hours that’s what it really comes down to,” Cory confessed. “As long as you can really have fun that’s all that matters to me and that’s all I ever want.” For the Stubborn King, there is nothing he enjoys more than hanging out with his community. “I just want to be amongst my friends and newcomers, and that’s a heck of a driving point of the streaming is the community,” he shared.

Prospering Shares His Passion for Dreamscape’s Charity Stream

Prospering to host a Dreamscape Charity Stream!

We have all heard the saying, find something you love to do and you will never have to work a day in your life. Unfortunately for most of us this dream is not a reality, but for Javante Anderson it is. Anderson, better known as Prospering, is a lifelong gamer who turned his passion into a successful career two and a half years ago.

    Life is About Balance

Prospering recalled, “In the beginning you really got to buckle down and grow your brand, but also find that balance between educating [yourself], fitness, and eating well. In the gaming industry, or any industry, I believe self-care is extremely important.” Anderson’s positive outlook and don’t give up attitude, as well as his impressive gaming skills has all contributed to his success as a streamer.

The streamer has not only grabbed the attention of fellow gamers, but caught the eye of a very well known company. “I am still currently sponsored by DTS. They are like family to me,” Anderson explained. The company celebrated Prospering’s huge achievement of reaching 10,000 wins in a little game called Fortnite by gifting him a large custom made canvas displaying the gamer with his historic milestone.

    WIN, WIN, WIN

In addition to Anderson’s colossal amount of wins, he holds the #1 Ranked Spot for PC Wins Worldwide in Fortnite. “Fortnite is just such a unique and beautiful game in all aspects. It does require a lot of time to put in to play to get a certain hand on it, but once you do put that little bit of time in it is such a beautiful game,” he explained. Prospering also currently holds the #1 Ranked Spot for PC DUO Wins on Fortnite.

    Nothing Beats a Smile

If you ask the highly skilled gamer what his favorite part about streaming is you might be surprised by his answer. “My most favorite part is the moments I share with people. The smiles, the laughter, the very unique moments that bring joy to everyone, I love that the most,” Prospering described. This joy is apparent in every single one of his streams and makes Anderson the perfect candidate to host a Charity Stream.

For his second official Charity Stream, Prospering is teaming up with Dreamscape Foundation to raise money for individuals with sensory disabilities. He explains, “If I have ways to give back, I would like to take those opportunities just as much as I would to further myself.” Join Dreamscape Foundation and Prospering for an action-packed Charity Stream this Friday, January 15, starting at 11 am EST. In Anderson’s own words, “I am going to be playing a lot of Fortnite. If anyone else wants to join in, feel free to come get some games in.”
